As Chairman of Insignis Paul has worked hard to build an eminent and highly relevant Advisory Board to assist Directors with the practicalities of the business’ strategic direction. In selecting the individuals on this board we hope to harness their diverse knowledge and take Insignis to new heights.
With his diverse range of board level experience Guy advises Insignis on the charitable sector. He currently chairs the investment committee of the Armed Forces Common Investment Fund and sits on the management committee of the Charity Investors Group. Guy’s experience spans the wealth management, charity and philanthropy sector over 22 years, latterly with Heartwood Investment Management as Head of Charities.
Both Stu Taylor and Usman Khan are leading lights of the City’s fintech revolution. They formed Algomi in 2012 and have won numerous awards for their innovative ‘Honeycomb’ bond trading product. Together they bring their valuable credentials to Insignis’ Advisory Board. Usman’s background spans managing various e–business solutions at investment bank UBS while Stu, named one of the 40 most influential individuals in Fintech in 2016 and 2015, was Global Head of Matched Principal Trading in Fixed Income at UBS prior to forming Algomi with Usman.
Mike Jensen is the Co-Chief Investment Officer at the Local Pensions Partnership, a collaboration between two prominent Local Government Pension Schemes offering best-in-class pensions services for public sector funds. Mike earned a formidable reputation as the key transformer of Lancashire County Council’s pension scheme through an intense portfolio restructuring, leveraging his earlier career in commercial trading and debt/capital markets. Mike brings this knowledge and experience to the Advisory Board of Insignis as we consult with pension providers and local authorities.
Stephen joined Aldermore in 2011 as Group Treasurer. He has 28 years’ experience in the banking Industry across a wide range of sectors with a diversified knowledge of front to end processes within most aspects of the Bank. He was recently chairman of the Small Banks Association, an independent group of financial institutions working in the interest of new/smaller players within the banking system. He brings a wealth of experience in the end to end banking processes as well as deep understanding of treasury, liquidity, capital and trading risk at banks. Stephen brings this and SME expertise to the Advisory Board, helping us to build deeper relationships with our banking partners.
